Gaining confidence through connections and friendship

OTA’s middle school carefully hones our students’ educational, social, and emotional skills before they graduate. An OTA graduate is someone who has a genuine connection to the Torah and its values, cares for others, and is a lifelong learner. At this stage of development, we place an added focus on our students creating meaningful connections wirh their Rabbeim and Moros.

OTA’s middle school boys program is geared towards developing students to be ready for Yeshiva. The middle school boys’ day starts in Beis Medrash for their daily Shacharis Minyan. Gemara is the main limmud in Kodesh and much time is spent developing independent learning skills. Our outstanding General Studies program ensures that students receive a full education in Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science, all aligned with Florida State Standards. Meaningful kesharim are developed inside and outside the classroom such as at Onegs, Shabbatons, trips, and the like.

Our middle school girls are housed in OTA’s new building #2. OTA’s girls experience a rigorous general studies and Kodesh learning program. Having subject-specific Moros and teachers affords our girls the opportunity to connect to many adults throughout the day. We also incorporate non-academic skills learned through extracurricular activities outside the classroom such as G.O., a play production, big sister/little sister programs, and the like. The girl’s building boasts a large common area for Davening, assemblies, and lunch.
